EQUOTIP Hardness Tester
The EQUOTIP is an extremely light weight portable
metal hardness tester. It is based on a novel dynamic
rapid test procedure. It offers a wide measuring
range and very high precision. It's most distinctive
feature is that it does not only permit measurements
vertically from top to bottom but can measure in
any direction.
Method
An impact body is launched by spring loaded force
against the surface of a test specimen. When it
is about 1mm from the test surface the impact velocity
and the rebound velocity is measured from which
the hardness value L is determined. The tester is
supplied in a durable case and comprises a single
impact device.
EQUOSTAT Hardness Tester
The EQUOSTAT hardness tester below is based on
a static measurement principle (Rockwell) and is
specially designed for hardness measurements on
small test objects. Typical applications are thin
or thinly coated parts, sheet metals, pins, tubes
and cylindrical specimens.
