Norbar's torque transducers have established an excellent reputation based on exceptional quality and accuracy.  A very wide torque range is covered, 0.05 N.m to 100,000 N.m and three basic transducer configurations are offered; static, rotary and annular.

All transducer up to 5000 N.m (or 5000 lbf.ft) are supplied as standard with a NATA or UKAS calibration certificate from Norbar's in-house laboratory.  Larger transducers are supplied with a certificate traceable to national standards.

Norbar's display instruments are available in two basic configurations. The TWA and DTS are dedicated, single transducer systems whereas the ETS offers full interchangeability of transducers from Norbar's extensive range.

These instruments are both easy to use and offer an accuracy level that is amongst the very best available in the industry.

Norbar's Pro-Test is a cleverly packaged torque wrench tester. With it's large multilingual display screen, and hidden set up menu, it is ideal for point of use wrench verification by operators. Three sizes of transducers allow wrenches from 2 to 1500 N.m to be checked or calibrated.

Also, contained within this product group is specialist equipment for quality control or research in particular industries where torque is a vital factor. For example, Torque Tension Machines for analysis of the torque/load relationship in threaded fasteners and Child Resistant Enclosure Meters for the study of the removal torques/forces required for certain types of child proof packaging.
