VAC-MAT offers a unique method of vacuum work holding.

Ideal for flat, thin and profiled work pieces the patented form of the mat keeps the part securely held down even when penetrated by the milling cutter, so windows, pockets and profiles can be machined in one set up giving tremendous productivity gains. The fixtures are modular and can be connected to each other giving added flexibility. Available in High Tensile Aluminum the modular plates come in two sizes 300x200x31.5mm for a single mat and 600x400x31.5 for four mats.

There is virtually no limit as to how large an area can be covered and special vacuum plates can be supplied on request. Vacuum pumps can be supplied with separate or integrated liquid separators to handle swarf and recycle machine coolants.
