The fully functional units are assembled complete
with components from the range of mechanical and electronic
products and software.
The system subdivides in CNC linear units as single-axis
solution, cross-structure, H-structure as well as
assembly option as portal, pedestal or extension arm
structure.
Multiple-axis solutions according to individual customer's
specific needs are possible.
CNC rotary units are offered as both single-axis solution,
as well as multiple-axis solution.
A wide range of isel automation CNC machines in compact
chassis design as portal system and CNC machines in
pedestal design is included in the system delivery
program.
Construction of ideas must be fast in the modern production
technology, and has to be precise and economical in
product change.

This requirement can be realized to the highest degree
with the "isy-concept" (isy= Integrated System) by
the Schott System and isel automation.
This concept with an exceptional favorable price-performance
ratio for a total solution integrated by CAD/CAM software
and CNC machine is unique in the Germany market.
For the customer, the isy concept represents a complete
fully functional unit originating from one single
manufacturer.
The machines come in different packages extend from
small stepping motor driven (microstep) machines in
table or pedestal design with a machining surface
of 100x 175 x 75 mm to large flat-bed machines with
machining surface up to 2500 x 1500 x 750 mm and servo
drive as well as with multiple tool-change.
The machines are suitable for milling, drilling, cutting,
engraving, dispensing, measuring, positioning, laser
or water-jet cutting, glue dispensing and other application
areas.
Processing materials mainly are light metal, plastic,
wood, printed circuit board material and glass.
With the great variety of isel mechanical components,
different designs like portal, flat-bed, pedestal
and extension arm systems can be achieved to meet
individual customer's specific needs in machine construction,
special machines building and automation applications..
For the handling area, feeding module, positioning
module and gripper module are offered.
In the robotic range, a Scara robot for the workpiece
carrying force of up to 2.5 kg is offered.
With the different types of linear and rotary units,
portal robots are constructed in different sizes and
configuration.
